At a young age Joshua Valdovinos fell in love with the hip hop culture, music, art and dance. Following in his older cousins foot steps, he learned breaking (break dancing) and the art of graffiti. Diving into both disciplines he started to develop his new way of life, style and expression.
Both practices are the core of his creative outlook, As a bboy he competed all over the US, judged, was an instructor, and even organized several breakdancing events. Always keeping up with his love for graffiti art, in 2013 he added a new direction to his creative expression. Snagz has narrowed his focus into his craft, experimenting and developing his skills and processes. Just like with breaking, he has solidified himself in the art world. Painting show cars, participating in art shows, mural and collaboration work, etc.
His style is colorful, mostly character and graffiti/streetart driven, but adaptive to whatever the project requires. From painting commissioned canvases, to developing his own streetwear, Snagz is always creating and hoping to paint something for you.
